What is Bikes in Schools?

A PE-based program that brings bikes, helmets, curriculum, and PD into classrooms so biking becomes as accessible as any other PE activity

  • A complete package that sets PE teachers up for success

  • A collaborative model tailored to each school

How it works:

  • Full package delivered to school: bikes, helmets, curriculum

  • Optional add-on: Teachers get trained: fun PD gives PE teams skills and confidence 

  • Schools tailor the program: each district customizes storage, scheduling, trail use, class structure

  • Students ride during PE: classes use balance bikes, skill progressions and age-appropriate lessons to get EVERY student riding

  • Ongoing support

Why Bikes in Schools?
